PRE-APPOINTMENT CARE

Please review before your appointment!

Let’s get you prepped for your appointment, it’s very important to follow the guidelines set below. Please review booking and appointment policies.

All appointments:

• Showering in the morning the day of your appointment and a hair wash is recommended (we will go over why when I get your personalized post- care kit)

  • Things like ibuprofen, vitamin D supplements, and caffeine can thin your blood and result in bad retention, please refrain from consuming these the day of your appt.

    • Zero alcohol in your system, no more than 2oz the night before. (Could result in loss of deposit and rescheduling)

• Refrain from the use of facial night serums with active ingredients the 48 hours before any treatment(retinols, aha, bha, acids, alcohols)

BROWS

  • Let those babies grow! (If you can) The more unkempt and growth to work with the better. This means no hair removal of any kind 7 days before your appt. If you’ve booked in last minute, don’t touch them and let me know if you’ve had them tinted, waxed, or laminated!

  • Gentle exfoliation to the brow area the shower the morning of your appt is recommended. don’t over scrub. Moisturize after!

  • Be careful if you’ve booked in summer months not to get a sunburn; you may need to be rescheduled (please see booking policies)

  • No facials, lasering treatments, tints, laminations, acids, or peels 10 days before the appt. Failure to let me know of these treatments will result in a loss of deposit.

  • You can arrive with or without make-up. If you do your brows daily; feel free to bring them in the way you do them. This helps me, help you too.

LIPS

SCREENING*** If you’ve ever had cold sores around the mouth you must go on the prescribed 7 days of antivirals. Consult a walk-in or virtual Doctors appointment to pick up this medication. You must take it 3 days prior to the appt day, the day of the appt, and 3 days after. This prevents breakouts.

If you are unsure but may have gotten them as a child; antivirals won’t hurt to go on as a precautionary measure.

  • Regular moisturizing balm and SPF are wonderful for a few days prior to the appt.

  • Don’t overdo it with any kind of pre appt prep, this includes waxing, soaking with oils/vasaline/ “slugging”

  • Light exfoliation with some sugar and lemon the night before followed by a light moisturizer overnight would be the best.

FRECKLES

  • If you have a gentle exfoliating cleanser, use this the night before followed by a moisturizer. Don’t over scrub and don’t use the morning of your appointment.

  • please come bare-faced (no coverup or concealer)

  • reminder to be cautious in the sun prior to your appt - I won’t tattoo sunburnt skin ouch!

EYELINER & LASH ENHANCEMENT

Please come clean-faced to your appt!

  • Good deep cleanse of the face followed by light moisturizer all over, coming in to the appt bare faced please.

  • Make sure you are at least 7 days post lash extension REMOVAL or any type of lift or tint services.
